This week's podcasters were James St. James, Fenton Bailey, Mary Ann Heagerty, Blake Jacobs, Rudy Bleu and me. We dished on yesterday's Go-Go's appearance in our very own basement (formerly The Masque), the Glee Project, James' love for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Jani Lane's sudden demise, our own personal summer anthems, the London riots, and Rob Kardashian's butt in tight outfits on Dancing with the Stars.

During the podcast (up later today), James asked what our summer song was. I didn't have an answer, but then it came to me. New Nicola Roberts. Absolutely adored her first single, which ended up having a terrific b-side, and now this? I'm loving it, however, I can also see why some might not love her voice so much as it's definitely unique. All I want is for my ears to be listening to her album, due out a day before Blake's and my birthdays next month.
FourFour has created, what I believe, to be the perfect storm of blog posts. It has not one, but three videos that you will be compelled to watch in their entirety. There's a countdown, a gif wall, some pop culture memories thrown in for good measure, and Kelly Ripa! Enjoy this video, where Lily Naradowski has somehow stolen my modern dance moves and committed them to '80's celluloid, but also do yourself a favor and take in the full glory of everything that is, was, and always will be Dancin' On Air.
To celebrate Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag U (which returns next week with Lesbians Gone Wild!), we have an Envirosax reusable shopping bag signed by none other than the permanent "falculty" of Drag U – RuPaul and Lady Bunny! Also, stay tuned because we'll have another prize for the celeb makeover-extravaganza-eleganza finale!
The adorable Rich from FourFour switches things up this year by finding out what reality stars actually are here for, as opposed to what they're not (make friends). Keep an eye out for some WOWlebrities included in the supercut!
At a recent Aphrodite Les Folies Tour stop in Perth, Kylie helped a lucky fan propose to his boyfriend of nine years, live on stage in front of thousands of other fans. Not that this is news to anyone, but it's sweet to watch nonetheless.
I am living for this new commercial The Hub has created for Jem & The Holograms, which made its triumphant return to television in all its classic '80s glory last month. In case you need a refresher on the narrator, check out one of his original viral videos. On a side note, does he do the voice of the mother from new favorite TV show Bob's Burgers?
Two months after the release of her single "Call Your Girlfriend," Robyn has finally put out a video to accompany it. It's a return to something more visually interesting, even if simple, compared to her her pasttwo videos which I found a bit boring. There's something about this one that shows off the energy she has in concert. Next up is the debut single from Nicola Roberts, the last member of Girls Aloud to try her hand at a solo career. I'm on the fence with this one. I like elements of the song, but am not loving it. She looks gorgeous in the video and it stays interesting, so points there, but overall I'm undecided. Then there's the new single from The Saturdays (Xenomania's other girlband). I'm digging the music, but the melodies sound like every other upbeat song of theirs, and the video feels like a rehash as well. And just for good measure I'm throwing in Kylie's "Put Your Hands Up" lyric video to go along with the digital EP's that are available today on iTunes. Featuring remixes and live tracks from her Aphrodite Live 2011 world tour (which everyone in the office, except Cooper, went to), it's a shame this single never got a proper video treatment and release.

In case you were living under a rock yesterday, you're aware that Chaz Bono and his girlfriend Jennifer Elia sat down with Oprah for his first major in-depth television interview to talk about his transition and the documentary Becoming Chaz. Oprah's website posted a clip from a discussion after the taping, in which Chaz expanded on his newfound happiness and how he's helping other transgender children.
Don't forget to tune in to OWN tonight at 9/8c for the television premiere of Becoming Chaz.
Deadline is reporting that ABC has ordered a celebrity edition of their reality show Wife Swap. They're currently casting and trying to find celebrities with drastic lifestyle differences. Television Without Pity writer Mindy Monez proposed the idea of pairing The Fabulous Beekman Boys, Josh & Brent (who are already up for it!), with Donald and Melania Trump. Barns, livestock, and gays vs gold apartments, comb-overs, and "politics"? Umm, yes please! (t/y Angela)
