Actress Tatum O'Neal, 44, was arrested on Clinton Street near her Lower East Side luxury apartment in Manhattan yesterday after she was spotted by police buying crack from a dealer around 7:30PM. The recovering drug addict told cops she was just researching a part, but when cocaine, crack, and a crack pipe were found on her she changed her story. At the 7th precinct, she was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; the dealer was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.
