Goth Is in the Details

Only moments too late to make the short list of 2006's Most Surprising Breakups is the split of Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese. Page Six reports today that Von Teese (birth name Heather Renée Sweet) filed divorce papers just before Christmas but Manson (real name Brian Warner) was unaware because she couldn't reach him. He'll find out today when he's served with papers at his LA recording studio (or reads the Post). After seven years of dating and a year of marriage, Von Teese is claiming irreconcilable differences, as wives will. "He's not been responsive," a friend blabbed. "She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can't even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn't even noticed."
