Model Behavior: Strike a Pose

Conceptual artist Yolanda Dominguez sent normal women onto the streets and sidewalks of Manhattan and asked them to strike the awkward, ridiculous fashion-model poses like the ones inside magazines. The project, called Poses, was her "direct criticism of the absurd and artificial world of glamour and of fashion that magazines present." The music in the video nearly drowns out the artist's arty VO commentary, which is probably just as well. (via The DW)
