potentially great casting in totally pointless remakes

It was announced that Russell Brand was on board for the remake of Arthur (with Modern Family director Jason Winer, and original music from Burt Bacharach), and that Michael Cera is being approached to play Gilligan in the big Gilligan's Island movie. NEITHER of which need to be made. Definitely a case of the pitch meetings probably being more fun than the actual movies.
