The celebration for Michael Musto's 25th anniversary at The Village Voice was massive! Michael Musto and Chip Duckett really know how to throw a party. Everybody who was anybody in the NYC nightlife scene was there with bells on! Joan Rivers – who looked fabulous – and Michael Urie both did a splendid job of hosting and Murray Hill served up some fabulously robust entertainment with a performance by Dirty Martini. The crowd was top notch, filled to the brim with celebrities, models, drag queens and party people. Sahara Davenport, one of the sexy stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race season two, was holding court and looking drop dead gorgeous. I was thrilled to meet up with a very dapper Malik So Chic, from the new CW show High Society. And I happily bumped into my old pal and Starrbooty alumni cast member and former RuPaul back-up singer, Kayvon Zand, who continues to look good enough to eat. I was having such a good time that I even allowed myself a few glasses of champagne which is a rarity for me nowadays. And though I don’t regret a minute of it, the alcohol did leave me a bit tongue tied when I was fortunate enough to meet one of my all time favorite reality-tv stars, Austin Scarlett, the incomparable fashion designer from the original season of Project Runway (and he couldn’t have been any sweeter). I had a blast! Thanks again to Chip Duckett and Michael Musto for such a wonderful night. (Click on photo to begin slide show. All photos by AGuyNamedWayne)
