It didn't work when HBO tried something like this with Lisa Kudrow in 2005, but Showtime is banking on Episodes, a series starring Matt LeBlanc playing Matt LeBlanc in a sitcom about Matt LeBlanc, being a hit. And what's the meta with that? Looks like they blew the whole concept in this preview.
