Longtime celebrity gossip Janet Charlton couldn't resist going to look at the many objects from Barbra Streisand's three houses that were being put up for auction at the Beverly Hilton on Friday, and was surprised to find Babs selling items most people would have thrown away. "There were two lots of unglamorous old flat sandals and beat up bedroom slippers that probably pre-dated James Brolin," reports Charlton. "Her loyal fans spent nearly a thousand dollars for the worn footwear."
