Ferris Wheel No Big DealTuesday, September 22, 2009 10:14 AM
This Ferris wheel once turned in Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch amusement park. Before he died, the Gloved One began liquidating everything in the house and park, and this ride ended up being bought by Missouri's Archway Amusements Corp, a traveling carnival tha tours the Midwest. Archway bought it simply because it needed another Ferris wheel, not because of its celebrity provenance. If you don't already know it comes from Neverland, Archway isn't going to tell you. "We ourselves really didn't advertise it," said Theresa Noerper, co-owner of the company. "When he died, it kind of blew up. There's no keeping secrets then." But hardcore Jackson fans – and some youngsters – will recognize the telltale color of the metal molding around the seats specifically created for Jackson. It's called pinot noir red. The color of Jesus juice. (Yahoo!)
