Penistron and the Communication Hole RiderMonday, May 11, 2009 05:05 PM
This except from the documentary film, The Perfect Fake, shows an adorably frank scientist explaining some of his projects in teledildonics. First, he shows how he has arranged electronically controlled electromagnets within a silicone simulated vagina which he is able to control from a basic desktop computer. He then (incompletely) demonstrates using the "Communication Hole Rider," a joystick modified so that it can be stuck up the butt to collect data about the anal movements that occur as the user simultaneously receives a simulated blowjob from the front piece of this contraption, also remotely controlled by the computer. In defense of the engineering behind the artificial blowjob part of the system, he explains, "There are many people who like to masturbate with a vacuum cleaner. They put their cock in a vacuum and go, 'Ooooh.'" All these input/output devices are intended to be used by two (or more) parties over the Internet, and, as the scientist proudly points out, "If there were someone else with a machine like this on the other side, you could have sex over the Internet. It doesn't matter whether the other side is virtual or real. You could still have sex because its just data." PS, I wish I could claim to have made up the word teledildonics, but it was coined in the year of my birth, 1975, by Ted Nelson in his book Computer Lib/Dream Machines. (via Buzzfeed)
