Turkish conceptual artist Serkan Ozkaya and five University of Louisville art students took one hour to hand-draw everything but the bar code on the front page of Louisville's April 10 edition of the Courier-Journal. It was a public-art project between the artist, the newspaper, and artwithoutwalls. "We are in the business of communication," said the paper's publisher. "This is just another way of doing that." It's never been done before in the US. You could say it's a first edition. (Source)
