Special Birthday Bitch: Dennis Peron

He's known as "the pot saint" – a long time activist for medical marijuana, and co-author of CA prop 215 which legalized medicinal marijuana in 1996. He's an awesome old gay guy whose "Cozy Castro Cottage" has been home for many a traveler to SF, and he was a friend of Harvey Milk. Wowlebrity John Durkin met him when he went up to SF for the filming of the candlelight vigil scenes in Milk, and he stayed at Dennis' "Cozy Castro Cottage." (Durks says: "Much cheaper and more fun than a hotel!") Dennis was an extra in Milk, and a young actor, Ted Jan Roberts, played him in the film. So happy b-day gorge! Now let's all celebrate our glaucoma and pass that shit.
